Best of 2017 - Television

Best Shows (Every Category):
Somehow, again, there was a lot more television this year.

In general, this list is the "If I had to cut back to a certain number of shows, based on money, time, etc., this is the list of shows I'd cut first (starting with #56) to shows I'd cut last (starting with #1). Last year this list was 50 shows, and there are 24 shows from last year's list that weren't on here (either they ended, didn't have a new season, or I stopped watching them), so I added 30 new shows this year. Last year I added 27 new shows.

There were 7 shows that didn't have new seasons (Atlanta, Westworld, Luke Cage, Daredevil, Not Safe With Nikki Glaser, Making A Murderer, Humans), 9 shows ended or were limited run (The People vs. OJ Simpson, Togetherness, The Night Of, Night Manager, The Get Down, Pitch, Agent Carter, Inside Amy Schumer, 11.22.63 ) and 18 I stopped watching or plan to catch up on later (The Americans, Billions, Mr. Robot, Preacher, Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, Lethal Weapon, Angie Tribeca, Arrow, The Expanse, The Gifted, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Chance, Voltron Legendary Defender, Supergirl, Star Wars Rebels, Punisher, Riverdale, DC's Legends of Tomorrow)
